the Pen/about

The Pen was first launched on the 24th of November, 2003 through an amalgamation of "Magic Mushroom" and "Eleven".

The co-authors describe the Pen as a melting pot of perspectives on the many aspects of pop culture, combined with a plateful of political commentary and served with a sprinkling of personal anecdotes. This site is the product of the Rooster’s tireless creativity and ingenuity, and the Mushroom’s relentless despotism.

The Pen is heavily opinionated, mildly amusing, sometimes thought provoking and rather stupid but always gives credit where it is due. The Pen would like to acknowledge the following websites who have inspired us in some way, shape or form:
